XtreeE is a platform
We allow designers and manufacturers to develop their project as an optimized and sustainable building system, thanks to advanced large-scale 3D printing technology. From design to production, we offer solutions that meet all construction customization and automation needs. Our services include :
- Architectural and technical design assistance
- Parametric design and optimization
- Prototyping and production of 3D printed elements
- Installation of connected 3D printing systems for R&D
- R&D on new printable materials
- Integration and certification of connected 3D printing systems for concrete manufacturing
We believe in a smooth transition
3D printing is a continuation of the digitalization of production systems and tools. In the field of construction, it enables free form, on-demand manufacturing, using less material, offering more speed and more security for all.
We welcome new paradigms
3D printing is a new paradigm that assembles all the players in the design and construction world: architects and designers, real estate developers, manufacturers and builders all share the same solution, based on the same digital model.
We prefer here and now
Building on Mars, why not? But printing solutions for restoring natural ecosystems, better housing, reducing the environmental impact of construction are challenges that 3D printing allows us to meet here and now.
Our team
We come from the 2010s. We came out of a research project, named DEMOCRITE, between the Paris-Malaquais School of Architecture, the Arts et Métiers ParisTech engineering school, the Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers, INRIA Sophia Antipolis and the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle-Les Ateliers. We are engineers, architects, automation specialists and programmers who share a common vision of the future of construction. We are the driving force behind a worldwide network of connected 3D printing units. Our R&D and prototyping centre is located at Rungis, a cluster in Grand Paris. Our systems are operational at Ecole des Ponts ParisTech (Marne la Vallée, France) and in Dubai (United Arab Emirates), together with our partner Concreative. Two other 3D printing units will be launched at the end of 2020 in Japan and the United States.
