Stormwater regulator in Lille

XtreeE co-developed this underground piece in 3D concrete printing in partnership with Point P Travaux Publics and Sade. It is a prefabricated stormwater regulator in the city of Lille. Environmental constraints made it impossible to use standard prefabrication: the site is under a busy street, making speed of execution a priority for the city.

Based on the measured dimensions, 230 x 270 x 155 for 2300 kg, the regulator structure was printed in the XtreeE workshops. It was then transported and installed on site. An in situ casting was carried out in specific reinforced concrete parts.
