Krypton, a column in Aix-en-Provence
This architectonic column is our first structure in a public building, in Aix-en-Provence, France.
3D printing advantages
Printing a lost formwork, filled with UHPFC and coated, greatly reduces waste and cost, for a flawless aspect.
XtreeE mission
XtreeE co-designed this structure with Marc Dalibard architect and EZCT Architecture & Design Research (Philippe Morel, Felix Agid), and then produced the 3D printing files as well as the moulds. The casting was carried out by Fehr Architectural with concrete from LafargeHolcim.
